House Number 42- Day 1
While it’s been some time since I’ve done a blog post, I am keeping myself busy working on a new project. If you follow me on Instagram or like my page on Facebook you’ll hopefully have seen some photos; I’ve been trying not to bombard you with my work over the past few months! For those of you reading this who might not follow me on social media, this is what’s been going on...
Last summer my boyfriend became the proud owner of his first house. From the outside a pretty standard 2 bed end of terrace but, as it had been empty for a little while, on the inside it’s the ultimate DIY project just screaming out be documented in photographs. I should warn you, this post is very photo heavy. There’s probably not a nook or cranny of the house that hasn’t been photographed. Believe it or not the images included here are only just over a quarter of the photographs I took on the day he got the keys!
We’ve come a long way since then and, although there’s still soooooooooo much to do, the house looks so different now. Please do stay with me over the next few weeks/ months and witness the transformation.
The previous owners weren’t afraid to paint all the walls in a room in the same bright colour. It’s a bold choice which I totally admire. Particularly the purple living room; it’s what I imagine it would be like to sit in Monica Geller’s apartment!
I absolutely loved this wallpaper inside the airing cupboard. I’m a gutted that it had to come out :(
