A portrait of Bromyard

It's that time of year again, when small town in Herefordshire is documented from head to toe by photographers from Hereford College of Arts and I must get over my fear of street photography. This year we went to Bromyard where the people were so friendly and accommodating, it really made photographing them so much easier!

I'd received a new long lens for my birthday so I could photograph people without having to get in their face and this was the first time I go to really try it out. Safe to say I love it and it really gave me confidence to be able to observe and photograph people discreetly. 

In the afternoon a small group of us visited a blacksmith's forge a couple of miles outside of Bromyard which, for me, was just a treasure trove of detail shots!
